Course overview
Course Overview
Financial Management, Budgeting & Compliance for NGOs Training Workshop equips NGO, nonprofit and development-organisation staff with practical skills for managing organisational and project finances, preparing realistic budgets, controlling expenditure, managing restricted and donor funds, producing accurate financial reports, maintaining appropriate documentation, and preparing for internal and external audits.
The workshop connects finance management with programme implementation and donor requirements, enabling participants to understand not only how transactions are recorded, but also how financial information supports accountability, decision-making, grant management and organisational sustainability. Effective nonprofit budgeting should be linked to planning and regularly compared with actual income and expenditure, while strong internal controls provide checks and balances around the movement and use of funds.
