GIS and Remote Sensing for Disaster Risk Management & Early Warning is a practical professional training course that equips participants with the skills to use GIS, satellite imagery, Remote Sensing and spatial analysis to identify, monitor and manage disaster risks. The training explores how geospatial technologies can support the mapping of floods, droughts, landslides, wildfires, environmental hazards and other disaster-prone areas, while helping organisations assess vulnerability, exposure and potential impacts.
